Terms of Service

General T.O.S

  • I reserve the right to refuse a commission from anyone, I am not obligated to give a reason for refusal

  • I only take SFW commissions

  • You must be 18 years or older to commission me

  • Only with proof of their consent will I draw artwork of other peoples characters or artwork of real people.

  • I am a fulltime student and work on commissions in set aside time, there are set time/days when I am not available for back-and-forth conversations.

  • Examples given for commission types as of 04/02/2025 are a mix of various pieces I’ve done; ranging from commissions, art challenges and gift pieces for friends. This is to showcase the Implementation of the technique that’s being referred too.

  • I reserve the right to watermark my work throughout the entire process as I see fit; for my protection and integrity.

Intellectual Property Rights / Use

  • I reserve the right to display, show live process and post all stages of the commission on social media/website/livestream/video. You may request otherwise for additional privacy reasons (Art of real people, pets, private projects, etc...)

  • You may post and use your commission on your profile with proper artist credit given to me ( embedded tag and/or link).

  • You may NOT modify my work unless under special circumstances, ask for details as I may take small detail revisions under good faith.

  • Your commissioned piece(s) are to be used for personal, non-commercial use without fee; rights for present and/or future commercial use may be discussed.

  • You may not distribute commissioned art commercially or directly profited off it unless we have agreed upon circumstances.

  • At any point in it's process, my Artwork and/or Commissioned Work may NOT under any circumstances be used to train AI and/or turned into an NFT.

Prices / Payments / Fees

  • Payments will be sent and accepted via Paypal and/or Venmo Invoices only

  • Payments are split into two halves: Half will be invoiced at start of commission, with remaining Half invoiced after the Coloring Phase.

  • If no Reference Sheet or Flat color art of character or photo (real life people commissions) can be provided, I will suggest returning with references or a Design Work Commission from me instead.

  • Adding another Character to a commission will cost 50% of the original price of type of commission, per additional character(s).

  • I charge a flat commercial use fee of double the total commission price.

  • Complexity fee of 10% on total price, may apply for complex designs and/or background aspects in special cases

Revisions / Refunds

  • It's my responsibility to make creative suggestions and work with your given feedback and make reasonable fixes to reach the end product together.

  • It is your responsibility to provide feedback and ask for revisions within the appropriate revisions periods during these updates.

  • A reasonable amount of revisions can be made, please give clear feedback to minimize revision rounds.

  • Excessive revision requests may require compensation.

  • What constitutes excessive requests are deemed so at my discretion.

  • Custom Design Work is locked to Three Revision Rounds before a fee is added for additional revision requests.

  • Once Commission has entered the Colored Concept Phase, refunds are no longer available to be fulfilled.

Custom Design Work:
You will provide a relatively detailed written description of the desired design of the character, (example: hair / fur / skin color, species, skin, coat and or body color) Mood boards, aesthetic collages, reference photos, traditional paper sketches, and themes are welcomed and encouraged in addition to a written description.Custom Design for Reference Sheet:
We work together to develop a sketchy design of your character, (read Revision T.O.S section). Then that design will be drawn into a default Base Reference sheet assets.
All additional reference sheet assets will done in same chosen style unless asked otherwise.The more visual references given the less chance of major revisions being needed to reach clients desired outcome, You will have three revision rounds before I charge additional revision fees.Delivery Estimation:
Upon Invoice you will be provided with an estimated Turnaround Time and Progress Table (Artistree timeline, Trello Page or an Edited Message List).Estimated Turnaround Time:

Throughout commission process, Visual Updates will be given for large progress milestones via first method of contact. During these Visual Updates I will show you how the commission looks, tell you what will be happening next and ask for feedback/discuss any revisions you may have.Progress Table:
A Progress Table with detailed passive updates will be viewable to you. Either via Artistree, Trello or simply an editable message that gets updated as things are completed.Response Times:

Detailed Process Breakdown
Details for most commission types
1) Initial Commission intake conversation
Conversation about commission prices and overview discussed. When accepted client will be asked to provide at least one of the following: A Reference Sheet(s) of requested character(s), a flat colored (non-shaded digital drawing, or digital color swatches if art is traditional) of requested character(s).If above cannot be provided, I will suggest either for you to return with needed resources or Commission a Custom Design from me.When Reference Resources have been given alongside conversation of themes, prompts and poses for the commission, I will get back in touch with with thumbnail concepts.2) Thumbnail selection and Initial sketch
Thumbnail will be provided for feedback. Once the chosen thumbnail is selected, it will be sketched out with more detail and we move to discussing price and payment.3) Price Discussion and Payment Invoice
Rough sketch of chosen thumbnail is shown and payment quote is given. Half of payment will be invoiced and once fulfilled, we move into the detailed sketching process and revisions.

4) Sketch Phase
I with clean up the rough Sketch and update you with progress picture(s) for feedback. Once sketch is line-art ready and approved we move into the Colored Concept Phase.

Once lineart-ready sketch is approved, a Colored Concept preview will be shown for feedback and to discuss desired colors and details, (effects, lighting, colors, background environment, etc...) I will be updating you again with progress pictures for feedback, at approval we move into the Lining Phase.
Last call for major revisions.

A Lineart preview will be shown before the start of the coloring process, at approval we move into the Coloring Phase.

I will re-confirm any details can details about coloring process, shading plan and desired effects and ask for additional feedback, at approval move to discussing final payment invoice (if applicable) and then Flats Preview.

Other Half of payment (If applicable) will be invoiced before Flat-Color Preview is provided and final commission aspects such as final shading / effects plan are finalized. Once fulfilled, we move into the Final Phase.
